Davor Vešligaj

Davor Vešligaj joined the United Nations Climate Change secretariat in 2015 which coincided with the adoption of the Paris Agreement, a landmark international treaty to combat climate change and accelerate the actions and investments needed for a sustainable low carbon future.

Since then Davor is a part of the secretariat’s team that is implementing a new global transparency framework whose main purpose is to track progress on climate actions and build trust among 185 countries that joined the agreement.

He is also keen to understand how people form their beliefs about climate change, how to build trust in climate science and link scientific evidence and policymaking that would hopefully keep us more future-proof.
