Biography

Full Prof. Nina Begičević Ređep, Ph.D. is the dean, full professor and scientific advisor in the field of social sciences, information and communication sciences at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI), University of Zagreb. She studied at FOI where she received her doctorate, and further specialized abroad at the University of Pittsburgh, where she was a U.S. Government scholar. She teaches at all study levels, as well as postgraduate university studies. Her areas of interest and research are related to business decision-making and decision theory, methods for multi-criteria decision-making, strategic planning and decision-making, educational technologies and the application of digital technologies in education.

In 2018, she founded the Laboratory for Strategic Planning and Decision Making at FOI, of which she is the Head. She has designed and held several workshops and professional trainings, and led or participated in several national and international projects with a focus on strategic planning and decision-making as well as the introduction of digital technologies in education. Professor Nina Begičević Ređep is a member of multiple editorial boards of scientific conferences and committees for e-learning improvement. In 2019, she has been elected as the first woman dean of FOI.

She has received several recognitions and awards for her scientific work and social contribution.
